The Biographical Sketch of
Rev. Dr. Walter L. Davis, III
Rev. Dr. Walter L. Davis, III, is the founder and pastor
of the City of Faith
and Deliverance Ministries Church of God in Christ Bronx, NY. Prior to pastoring,
Elder Davis was a member of the All Saints Temple, better known as King’s
Temple Church of God in Christ, where his grandfather was the founder and
pastor. Later he became the Program
Coordinator, Pastoral Anniversary Chairman, and Choir Director of the King’s
Temple Sanctuary Choir, under the pastorate of Rev. Dr. Milton E. Rochford. He also
sang with his cousin, Elder Benny Cummings and the Benny Cummings Singers. He was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost
in 1979; licensed as a minister in 1989; ordained an elder by his jurisdictional
prelate, Bishop Frank O. White, in 1993; and consecrated a pastor in 1999.
